Job Vacancy: Career Development Center (CDC) Assistant
Job Description:
Supports QIU Career Development Center, including student clubs and extracurricular programmes by coordinating registrations, events, logistics and communications; maintains activity calendars and records, submits basic purchasing requests, and ensures compliance with university policies.
Requirements Essential:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, Social Sciences, Management, or related field).
Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to engage, motivate, and support students in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends for student events.
Desirable:
Prior experience in student affairs, campus life, or managing extracurricular/club programs.
Event planning and coordination skills (workshops, cultural activities, competitions, community service projects).
Multilingual communication skills (Kurdish, Arabic, or other languages).
Familiarity with higher education environments and student engagement best practices.
Knowledge of budgeting or resource management for student activities.
