Job Vacancy: Personal Assistant to the University President
Job Description:
Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the University President. Duties include diary and inbox management preparation of briefs and minutes, handling correspondence, arranging meetings, travel coordination, and handling confidential information with discretion.
Requirements Essential:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Administration, Management, or related field).
Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism.
Proven organizational ability, with capacity to manage complex scheduling and
competing priorities.
Advanced IT proficiency, including MS Office, scheduling software, and digital communication platforms.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
Flexibility to work outside regular hours as required by the President’s schedule.
Desirable
Previous experience in higher education administration or executive-level support.
Knowledge of university governance and academic structures.
Event coordination or protocol management experience (official visits, board meetings, academic ceremonies).
Additional languages (Kurdish, Arabic, or others).
International English certification (TOEFL or IELTS).
