Qaiwan International University is seeking to appoint a qualified and creative photographer to join the Directorate of Media and Communication. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality photography and video content, supporting media coverage, editing visual materials, and contributing to graphic design work for institutional communication and promotional purposes.

Position Details

• Position Title: Photographer

• Workplace: Office of Media and Communication

• Contract Type: Full-time

• Contract Duration: One year, subject to renewal

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A diploma or higher academic degree.

• Two years of experience in photography, photo editing, videography, video editing and graphic design

• Excellent communication skills.

• Good organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements

The following qualifications and skills are desirable:

• Working knowledge of English.

• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Professional training or courses in graphic design, photography and/or videography.

• Experience in institutional, educational or corporate media work.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Photographer will be expected to:

• Take and edit professional photographs for events, activities, ceremonies and promotional purposes.

• Record and edit video content for institutional use.

• Design visual materials for digital platforms, printed publications and social media.

• Maintain an organised archive of photos, videos and design files.

• Coordinate with staff, students and administrative offices/departments to cover media-related needs.

• Ensure that all visual materials reflect the institution’s image and standards.
